Furnishing a home is more than a design exercise – it is an act of creation, an art that transforms a space into a personal sanctuary. This 353-square-meter house in Voluntari was designed by the studio Annahata Creation: architects Anna-Maria Roberta Ciorzan, Bianca Nestian, and Lorena Minciunescu.
Their project brings to life a vision where every member of the family finds comfort, inspiration, and energy, in a home that blends contemporary refinement with the functionality of smart technologies.
For this interior, a balanced combination of lighting solutions was chosen: recessed tracks with spotlights for accents and flexibility, recessed LED strips for subtle ambient lighting, and decorative lighting fixtures that add extra elegance and personality to each space.
“This approach allows for both optimal lighting control and a refined aesthetic, adapted to each zone. Light is an essential element in a design, as it influences the perception of space and creates the desired atmosphere. Well-thought-out lighting can accentuate textures and materials, define functional zones, and contribute to the well-being of those living in the space. Through a combination of general, accent, and ambient lighting, we managed to bring a balance between functionality and aesthetics,” specifies architect Anna-Maria Roberta Ciorzan, the creative lead of the project.
The Hallway – A Gateway to Elegance
First impressions matter, and the hallway of this home welcomes guests with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Wood paneling, along with plays of indirect light achieved through LED strip inserts, creates a sophisticated ambiance, complemented by large ceramic tile flooring with copper profile inserts that add an elegant accent.
The Kitchen – Technology and Design at Their Best
Open-concept and innovative, the kitchen is an example of functional and aesthetic design. The centerpiece – the island – seems to float, thanks to the ceramic countertop and glass base. Above it, two modern chandeliers with greenery inserts bring a fresh air.
Our recessed lighting tracks, with LED lines and spotlights, provide sufficient light in the kitchen area. Full automation and state-of-the-art Smart equipment, implemented by Design Radar with Casambi controls, make this home a true hub of technology and refinement.
The Living Room – Natural Elegance and Comfort
The living area continues the chromatic line of neutral, natural colors, accented by precious textiles such as green and beige velvet. The flooring, with organic parquet inserts in the large ceramic tiles, and green walls with natural plants bring nature and dynamism into the interior. A suspended fireplace completes the space harmoniously.
Here too, our recessed lighting tracks, with LED lines and spotlights, complete the lighting requirements and create well-thought-out scenarios for every moment of the day. They are complemented by Shotlight S trimless recessed spotlights, with a special "Invisible Black" effect.
The Staircase – A Story of Light
The interior staircase is a spectacle of modern design: every detail contributes to the fluidity of the space and invites one to discover the rooms ahead.
Our lighting profiles for steps, with their minimalist design and black finish, subtly guide the gaze towards the upper floor.
The Night Area – Personality and Refuge
Upstairs, the bedrooms are designed as personalized spaces, reflecting the needs and personality of each user. For these spaces, we supplied profiles with LED strips for decorative walls and ceilings, which complete the lighting scenarios for different times of the day.
The master bedroom is an oasis of peace, with natural and warm accents. The green velvet bed becomes the focal point of the room, alongside precious glass lighting fixtures and fluffy carpeting that enhances the feeling of comfort.
The master bathroom continues the story of refinement with the green freestanding bathtub, the centerpiece of the space. Custom vanities, made of ceramic cladding, and walnut wood furniture with rounded lines bring elegance and uniqueness. Copper metallic accents complete the design with a subtle touch of luxury.
Guest and Children's Spaces
The guest and children's bedrooms are created with attention to the requirements and preferences of each user, combining comfort with a design full of personality.
This project is not just a dwelling, but a contemporary sanctuary that redefines the idea of "home," prioritizing refinement, functionality, and a personalized story for every detail.
