In this article, we present to you an apartment in Bucharest that was decorated in a minimalist style, using premium design solutions provided by Design Radar. From custom-made furniture, doors and lighting systems to profiles and blinds, we provided high-quality products to help create a modern and refined space that will increase the value of the property and will not go out of style too soon.
The apartment is located in a new complex in the Domenii area of Bucharest, has two rooms and was designed for a family of two by an interior design studio in Bucharest.
Architectural lighting in the living area
For general lighting in the living room, a recessed track with directional spotlights, mounted in a square shape, was used to delimit the space dedicated to the living room from the kitchen area, but also to provide the necessary light for each area. The TV furniture is a Living Wall from Caccaro , with a black ceramic cladding.
Above the table with a solid wood top, the Heracleum decorative suspension from Moooi provides the necessary light, while also having a decorative role.
Instead of classic curtains and drapes, the beneficiaries wanted automated natural wood blinds . Handmade in Romania, these shading solutions represent a modern, practical and sustainable method for covering windows.
In this apartment, we proposed natural wood blinds in the living room, bedroom and bathroom (there are models specially finished for wet spaces).
The kitchen area is illuminated with recessed spotlights and Top Mini surface-mounted spotlights from Arkoslight. LED strips are integrated into the kitchen for furniture and the work area.
The Shadow Gap hidden skirting board creates a floating wall effect and is illuminated with an RGB LED strip: the color changes according to your preferences. 
Implementation tip: for optimal results, the LED strip is applied last, after the hidden skirting board has been installed. The skirting board is installed after the parquet has been installed – leave space for the skirting board between the wall and the floor before finishing. At the top, the Shadow Gap skirting board profile has been installed – and this can also be illuminated, with room for the LED strip and diffuser.
Caccaro storage furniture
The dressing rooms in this apartment are custom-made by the Italians at Caccaro. The major advantage of a custom-made dressing room is that it can be any size, depending on the space. Our favorites are the walk-in ones: we wrote in this article what advantages a walk-in dressing room offers you.

Interior doors made in Italy
All the interior doors in this apartment are from our favorite Italian manufacturer, Albed. Several types of doors were installed: filomuro swing doors , sliding doors, and wall-mounted sliding doors mounted on a track. 
The filomuro effect: the doors integrate perfectly into the walls, without visible frames or decorative elements. This creates visual continuity, emphasizing the simple and clean lines of the walls, offering a modern and minimalist look.
Bedroom lighting
As in the living area, we proposed a recessed track here, with directional spotlights. Instead of a bedside lamp, the beneficiary preferred two small spotlights, which can be directed according to need, so as not to disturb the other half of the bed. The headboard is illuminated with RGB LED, controllable directly from a tablet or phone.
