Shadow Gap hidden skirting and shadow line profile
An aluminum profile that provides a clean finish to the junction between the wall and the floor, without a traditional skirting board. The wall appears not to touch the floor — a precise shadow line that delineates surfaces through a controlled gap rather than an added element.
It works perfectly as a pure architectural detail, installed without LED strips. The natural shadow of the gap is enough to create the floating wall effect. Where the project also requires light, the profile accommodates an LED strip and diffuser, mounted in the same channel, for discreet wall-washing of the floor.
It can be installed in two positions, with the same effect of precision:
At the floor — as a hidden skirting, completely replacing the traditional baseboard
At the ceiling — as a minimalist shadow gap, either as a simple shadow line or for indirect perimeter lighting
Installation
The profile is installed in two ways, depending on the wall structure. In both cases, the profile dimensions — height and depth — are taken from the technical data sheet and correlated with the thickness of the finish layer during the layout phase.
In drywall. The section is designed for the standard thickness of the panels, so it integrates without adaptations. The perforated wings are skim-coated along with the wall.
In plastered masonry walls. A channel is traced and cut to the size of the profile, into which it is fitted and mechanically fixed. The plaster is then brought up to the edge of the profile for the same trimless result.
The protective film is removed at the end — the edge remains intact, free of putty, mortar, or paint residue.
Optional: integrated lighting
The inner channel is ready for LED strips and a diffuser. Both are ordered separately, depending on the project. (compatible LED strip width 12mm)
Why from Design Radar

Delivery
The Seller will inform the Buyer by email of the delivery date at least 3 days before delivery. If the Buyer is unable to take delivery of and accept the goods on the date indicated by the Seller, the Buyer will inform the Seller and will agree with the Seller (no later than 2 days before the date proposed by the Seller for delivery) a new delivery date falling within a maximum of 5 days of the date proposed by the Seller. The Buyer will pay the Seller all costs of storing the goods from the delivery date proposed by the Seller until the newly agreed delivery date. If the Buyer does not inform the Seller that they are unable to take delivery of and accept the goods on the date indicated by the Seller and/or does not agree with the Seller (no later than 2 days before the date proposed by the Seller for delivery) a new delivery date falling within a maximum of 10 days of the date proposed by the Seller, delivery will take place on the date indicated by the Seller.
Returns
Eligible products may be returned only in their original packaging, within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) calendar days of receipt. The item ordered must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered to the Customer by GC INDOOR, with the same label attached, in its original packaging and together with the delivery documents that accompanied it, where applicable. Within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days of the return, GC INDOOR undertakes to transfer the value of the Order to the Customer, into a bank account indicated by the Customer who placed the Order. Products manufactured to specifications provided by the Customer (consumer) cannot be returned. Provisions of Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014.
