The contemporary kitchen has long transcended its strictly functional role. Today, it is a space for living, socializing, and architectural expression, where design, materials, and technology must function flawlessly together.
For clients seeking custom-made kitchens Made in Italy, the difference lies not only in aesthetics but in the quality of execution, the durability of materials, and the technical solutions integrated from the production phase.
Opened in 2025, the Design Radar showroom exclusively exhibits Modulnova furniture, an Italian manufacturer recognized for its use of natural materials, innovative finishes, and state-of-the-art custom solutions. With 14 price ranges, Modulnova offers real flexibility in both design and budget, without compromising on quality.
Custom-made kitchens Made in Italy in our showroom
Premium contemporary kitchens are defined by visual continuity, authentic materials, and discreet technological integration. Fronts become architectural surfaces, appliances are fully integrated, and lighting and storage are thought of as part of a coherent concept. A well-designed kitchen must function flawlessly day after day, while also looking just as good years later.

1. Natural stone kitchen furniture
Displayed right at the entrance of our showroom, the Blade Lab kitchen redefines contemporary living. The 3-meter marble island is the centerpiece – sculptural, tactile, timeless. The Marble Silver Roots finish features veins that branch out like ancient roots, creating a strong contrast reminiscent of millenary trees. Each marble slab is unique, unrepeatable, a true work of natural art.
The wooden console is only 12 mm thick and is attached to the monolithic island. The metal support inserted into the island allows for the countertop to be suspended without the need for a leg or other visible support elements.

The monolithic island features natural stone fronts that are 15 mm thick. At 120 cm long, the drawers are perfectly functional and are also finished with stone on the inside. The island integrates modern technologies: a dishwasher, a sink, and a cooktop. The built-in dishwasher features Knock2open technology, an innovative Miele system that automatically opens the door with two light knocks on the front.
Natural stone allows the sink base to be manufactured from a single piece, without joints, unlike ceramic materials. The heightened attention to detail is remarkable: the valve cover continues the veining pattern of the natural stone.

The 295 cm high pocket doors are made of aluminum and have a Bronze Dust metallic texture. Behind them lies a storage area with metal drawers, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and espresso machine, plus numerous other storage shelves.

The wine cellar area uses a combination of natural materials with a strong impact: walnut wood in a Moka finish, with warm chocolate tones, and the fascinating Silver Roots marble, combined to create an impressive effect.
We find here the same Silver Roots marble as in the island, but processed with a 3D effect. The bronze doors with black metal frames feature pivot opening.
Italian furniture requires experience. That is why Design Radar works with its own installation team, specially trained for the solutions and systems of the Italian manufacturers in our portfolio.
2. Ceramic kitchen furniture
The SKILL GRES collection shows how the spectacular effect of natural stone can be achieved through ceramic finishes, which reduce the cost of the furniture. Ceramic materials 100% replicate the texture, veining, and shades of natural stone.

The island is fully functional, equipped with shelves, drawers with internal accessories, and a cooktop with an integrated hood. The side facing the living room is treated to integrate into the living area, with shelves and storage.

A special factor is that the doors and drawers have ceramic fronts, which provides a unified, monolithic stone block effect. The Gola profile and the lower plinth are also made of ceramic.

Among the advantages of this furniture is that all components are produced directly in Italy and delivered already integrated, with the ceramic finish applied at the factory, which ensures trouble-free installation, as well as durability and resistance over time.

The workspace is equipped with Ghost Duo System double pocket doors, with four doors, which completely hide the kitchen area. These are available for lengths of up to 3 meters and heights of up to 2.70 m. Interior customization is done according to each project.

The wall units are made of smoked glass with integrated LED lighting, display-case style. The ceramic countertop and backsplash ensure a unified aesthetic with the island part. The countertop comes from the supplier with the ceramic sink integrated and ready-mounted, and the sink faucet is also produced by Modulnova.

The doors are 75 cm wide and allow for the complete concealment of the hot preparation area (oven/microwave/espresso machine). The refrigerator is built into a column with a push-to-open system, to avoid visual interruption by profiles.

When the doors of this premium Made in Italy kitchen are completely closed, the furniture looks like a wall paneled on both sides. On the exterior, the fronts are made of metallic painted MDF, and on the interior, we find Milltech Noce Clasic finishes and Gres Apenino ceramic. The 14 mm beveled countertop with a 45-degree turn offers the precious effect of natural stone.

The lighting for this ambiance is provided by 6 invisible Shot Light spotlights, with the much-coveted Invisible Black effect, combined with a suspended Arkoslight track. Above the island, the Across suspension from Luceplan "traverses" the space with a clear and distinctive graphic gesture.
3. Kitchen furniture with Fenix countertop
This minimalist kitchen combines several state-of-the-art materials. The island countertop is made of Fenix, and the Super Matt MDF fronts are in the same gray finish. As with the previous kitchen, the plinth and Gola profile are manufactured in the same finish to avoid visual interruptions. The Milltech paneling combines two finishes: Rovere Fosile, with a wood look, and Sahara Noir Raw, with a stone effect.

What advantages does Fenix material bring to a premium kitchen?
Fenix is a state-of-the-art material developed for heavily used spaces, such as kitchens. Among its main advantages are:
- an ultra-matte, elegant, and contemporary surface
- high resistance to fingerprints, scratches, and impacts
- antibacterial properties and ease of maintenance
- the possibility of thermal self-repair of micro-scratches
Integrated into a custom-made kitchen from Italy, Fenix offers an excellent balance between minimalist aesthetics, functionality, and long-term durability. The dining area is integrated into the countertop and equipped with two bar stools.

The Fenix sink, also produced in the Modulnova factory, is integrated into the countertop and equipped with a removable cover. This furniture makes the most of every corner, thanks to state-of-the-art closing systems, such as the asymmetrical Ghost Duo Pocket Door, which allows full use of the corner to create a coffee corner or for storing appliances. These types of solutions help avoid visual clutter in the kitchen.
Another advantage offered by this custom-made kitchen from Italy is the factory-provided electrical accessory system: upon request, switches and sockets can be integrated directly by the supplier.
In the sink area, the sliding storage system allows for the concealment of cleaning items that are unpleasant to look at. Hidden storage ensures an ultra-minimalist, organized, and clean look.

The columns create the effect of a wall paneled from top to bottom. The option of vertical Gola-type handles and simple hinged doors reduces the price point.

On the left, the wall with integrated LED lighting maintains the minimalist effect of the design, breaking the monotony. The pivot door, made from furniture fronts, is aligned with the kitchen columns that integrate the appliances: refrigerator, freezer, oven-espresso machine, a simple storage area, and the Ghost Duo corner system.
Lighting for this ambiance is achieved through Buddy spotlights, recessed tracks, and recessed ventilation systems from Arkoslight.
The custom-made furniture from Italy is equipped with integrated, dimmable LED lighting for different scenarios. The fact that the profiles are integrated directly by the supplier from the production phase simplifies the installation stage and guarantees proper execution.

The living area is equipped with complementary furniture, also created by Modulnova, which allows for visual unity through finishes. Besides aesthetics, manufacturing by the same supplier optimizes installation time. In addition, Design Radar has its own installation team, specialized in Italian furniture solutions.
4. Milltech kitchen furniture
When space permits, we recommend creating a "dirty kitchen" area – a secondary, hidden kitchen.

What is a "dirty kitchen" and why do we recommend it
The dirty kitchen concept involves creating a secondary, hidden kitchen intended for intensive preparation and the storage of appliances. This solution allows for keeping the main kitchen clean, tidy, and perfectly integrated into the living area.
In premium projects, a dirty kitchen contributes to:
- eliminating visual clutter
- separating functions
- increasing daily comfort
- maintaining an impeccable look for the main space

The Milltech material, developed exclusively by Modulnova, represents the variant that maintains the design and veining of ceramic, but at a much more affordable price.
The Milltech Texture Grey and Gold Brown finish combines stone and wood effects. The stone decor allows for budget compliance while maintaining aesthetic coherence with the main kitchen.
The linear countertop integrates both the sink and the cooktop, and the detached cladding allows for the installation of an LED strip along the entire length of the countertop – a simple but effective detail that provides the necessary work lighting. The stainless-steel sink features trimless integration, another minimalist and effective detail.
What is Milltech material and what are its advantages?
Developed by Modulnova, the Milltech material represents an evolution of laminate, being processed with advanced technologies, such as laser edging which makes joints invisible and provides increased resistance to moisture and heat, being used even for bathroom furniture. It is very durable and easy to maintain, being superior to painting (painted MDF) in terms of impact resistance.
Milltech is different from standard melamine-type finishes ("eco-wood" or "simple laminate") offered by other manufacturers. Aesthetically, the Milltech range very faithfully imitates natural materials (wood, stone, clay) both visually and tactilely.
Milltech is the ideal solution for clients who want the aesthetics of premium Italian kitchens, with superior resistance and an optimized budget.
