Over 100 architects, interior designers, and guests joined us for an evening dedicated to the intersection of high-end design, Miele technology, and a gastronomic experience.
On September 30th, the Design Radar showroom hosted an event organized together with our partners at Miele. It was an evening centered on design, taste, and wonderful conversations, where the kitchen was more than just a showroom space: it became the place where ideas turned into experiences.
We were delighted to welcome over 100 architects, interior designers, and guests into a setting that brought together the design community and a passion for gastronomy.

A beautiful kitchen is, above all, a kitchen where cooking happens
In contemporary interior design, the kitchen is increasingly becoming part of the living area. Materials, proportions, and finishes contribute to the aesthetics of the entire home, yet functionality remains essential.
At the event, we highlighted this idea: a kitchen is meant to be used, to host experiences, and to become part of daily life.

In a Modulnova kitchen, minimalist design and attention to materials meet the technology of Miele appliances. Together, the two brands create a space where aesthetics and performance work naturally, each supporting the other.
Live cooking with Chef Răzvan Berce and his team
The centerpiece of the evening was the live cooking session hosted by Chef Răzvan Berce, Miele brand ambassador, together with his team: Liviu Anei and Alex Ștef.
Guests watched the real-time preparation of a main course and a dessert, crafted using state-of-the-art Miele appliances. The kitchen thus became an active space where technology was put to work, and guests were able to discover the cooking experience beyond a mere product presentation.

It was a demonstration of how well-integrated technology supports the creative process and transforms cooking into an experience worth sharing.

Miele technology, integrated into the Modulnova aesthetic
The Miele team presented some of the brand's latest solutions to the guests: 8000 series cooktops, M Sense smart cookware, DGC ovens, and built-in coffee machines.
Beyond their functions and performance, these products were presented in the context of a contemporary kitchen, where every detail contributes to the overall image.
The Obsidian Black finish of the Miele appliances integrates harmoniously with the fronts of Modulnova kitchens and their minimalist aesthetic. The result is a coherent composition where technology does not interrupt the architectural language but becomes part of it.

For us, this is one of the meaningful encounters between design and technology: when the performance of a product is complemented by careful visual integration, and functionality is part of the space's concept from the very beginning.
Purcari wines and conversations that bring the community together
The evening's experience was complemented by Purcari wines and the presence of sommelier Gabriela Bratu, who guided guests through the selection of wines.
Gastronomy, wines, and design created the setting for a relaxed evening, where architects and designers had the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and enjoy a shared experience.

We wanted the event to be not just a product presentation, but also an opportunity to connect people who share the same attention to quality, details, and well-crafted experiences.
Miele × Design Radar: technology meets design
The collaboration between Miele and Design Radar stems from a shared conviction: in a design project, choices must work together.
Appliances are part of the kitchen experience, just like the furniture, materials, and the way the space is organized. Therefore, integrating them from the design phase contributes to both the functionality and the aesthetic coherence of the space.

Modulnova kitchens provide the architectural framework, while Miele technology brings performance and new possibilities for use. Together, they support a kitchen that looks good, works well, and is ready to be lived in.
Thank you for joining us
We thank our partners at Miele for the collaboration, Chef Răzvan Berce and his team for the culinary experience, our partners at Purcari for the wine selection, and especially all the architects, designers, and guests who chose to spend this evening with us.
It was a joy to see the Design Radar showroom become a meeting place for design, gastronomy, and ideas.

Because, beyond objects and finishes, design means how we live, how we meet, and how we enjoy the spaces we build.
We look forward to seeing you at Design Radar to discover Modulnova kitchens, Miele solutions, and the possibilities for integrating technology into your project.
