On Thursday, November 27, 2025, our interior design showroom hosted a special workshop organized in partnership with Schneider Electric Romania, dedicated to KNX integrators in Bucharest. Under the theme “Integration. Design. Functionality,” the event brought together professionals who transform spaces through smart technology and high-level architecture.
The workshop began with a guided tour of our 700 sqm showroom, led by Pavel Căruntu, CEO of Design Radar. Participants had the opportunity to explore the thematic areas, real-life projects, and premium solutions implemented, observing in practice how KNX integration optimizes the user experience. Pavel spoke about the role of User Experience in residential and commercial projects and how a well-thought-out interface can increase the value of a space, both functionally and aesthetically.
The centerpiece of the event was the presentation given by Adrian Alistar, Business Segment Manager – Hotels at Schneider Electric Romania. He introduced the SpaceLogic KNX solutions, an advanced portfolio that allows for the intelligent management of lighting, climate control, and comfort functions. The discussion highlighted the importance of a holistic approach to design, where design is not just complemented, but amplified by technology.
Adrian also highlighted the flexibility of the KNX ecosystem, which allows for integration with various premium brands in the industry, making it ideal for contemporary projects that combine minimalist aesthetics with cutting-edge functionality.
Following the presentations, participants enjoyed an interactive Q&A and networking session. The integrators analyzed in detail the KNX scenarios installed in our showroom and appreciated how Schneider Electric's solutions blend naturally with the carefully designed environments.
The general feedback was extremely positive, emphasizing the interest in projects where interior design, architecture, and technology function as a cohesive whole.
In closing, the event once again underscored the importance of close collaboration between designers, architects, and integrators. At Design Radar, we prioritize strong partnerships with KNX specialists, ensuring that every project benefits from the highest-level solutions — efficient, aesthetic, and perfectly tailored to each client's needs. We are delighted to develop, alongside Schneider Electric and the community of integrators, projects that raise industry standards.
